I have never seen a deck quite like the Eros Tarot, and if you are into soft watercolors that feature all different shapes and shades of beautiful people, you might want to take a closer look...but only if you are over 18! Each card features humans in a variety of combinations and situations that clearly reflect the intention of the scenario depicted, with every racy twist you can imagine, and some you most likely have not!
Inside you will find the cards to be a bigger size (3.5"x5.5"), printed on heavy cardstock with a linen finish. The color palette is gorgeous, and if you are one who is less than comfortable being open with your sexuality (or that of others) this deck may be just what the doctor ordered to pull you out of hiding. There are bodies of all types to be found within this creation; some show up solo and contemplative, while others are the life of the party, so to speak. If you are a collector, you will not want to miss this one! The quality of the images, artistic style, and aesthetic are amazing, and if you are feeling a bit edgy, this will definitely keep your practice VERY interesting!
For all of the creative scenarios contained within the Eros Tarot, you might be quite pleasantly surprised to see the traditional RWS suits and court cards! This deck stands alone in it's absolutely wild an sensual vibe (see what I did there). The artwork is quite beautiful and thoughtful, and this second edition is going to have a guidebook that will come in at around 40 pages, as well as a lovely box that matches the purple and gold card backs. These are all being sustainably printed in the USA. Find specific info on the printer and pictures of each card via links on the Kickstarter page.

As a child, I visited the city often as we had relatives that lived downtown. This deck is like mixing Candy Land with NYC and the vibe is amazing. It brings back so many sweet and wonderful times, and if you know me, you know that I will always be a city girl. When I saw this deck with all of these amazing landmarks and familiar remembrances folded into another love of my life, the Tarot, I knew this would be the Fool's Journey of a lifetime. Jackie has attended to every detail within this miraculous creation and trust me, if you have never been to NYC, the magic will not be lost on you. You might just find yourself looking for plane tickets as I absolutely cannot wait to go back with this deck in hand!
The flow of this series of 78 complete works of art is an incredible peek right into the heart and soul of a place that is like no other. The companion book will be your knowledgeable tour guide not only through the City of Dreams, but through the Tarot itself. Inside there are explanations of the suits, an index of tarot terms, and detailed descriptions of each and every card along with the location of their inspiration. If you are a seasoned reader, this deck will light you up like the city itself and you will most certainly feel like the proverbial kid in the candy store. If you are new to Tarot or even Tarot curious, it is fun, approachable, and educational! Haven't been to NYC? I am not sure what you are waiting for, but this offering will bring you through the tunnels/over the bridges (if you know, you know), downtown, and uptown like no other!
The cards are a comfortable size and thickness, with a gorgeous, high-quality linen finish that feels super swank, like the city itself. The backs feature a neon sunburst with a centered psychic eye against a rich, midnight purple sky. It doesn't matter what kind of mood you are in, this deck claps right back just as you would expect. It will brighten your spirits or tell it like it is, and either way it is exactly what you need. Enjoy this view of NYC from the heart of the one who wandered home to her "City That Never Sleeps"; I suggest you don't sleep on this offering either! It is a souvenir of epic proportion, and a tribute to the heart of NYC, its people.

As someone who loves animals, I spied the Major Barkana on Instagram and was immediately drawn to the sweet loves looking back at me. These are the faces you recognize from perhaps a childhood dog, a furbaby of your own that has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, or a friend or loved one's beloved furchild. Imagine my joy when I found out that this project was a 5 year journey for the artist, Calion, to not only bring a personal long term project to fruition, but to also raise awareness for service dogs.
I don't even know where to begin with the amazing and distinctly different 78 separate watercolor paintings that come together to comprise this RWS style deck. From the vivid and beautiful colors, to the collar banner that houses each card name, there is no detail left undone. It is amazing to me that each loveable face that you will meet here in the Barkana is an actual, real soul; some are beloveds that have crossed over and some are still with us today, but their story is told through the life-like depiction of their countenance.
The cards are standard size and thickness, with an anti-scratch finish to protect the design and bring out the gorgeous colors that you see above. The backs showcase a watercolor full moon and sweet paw prints against a night sky which is as peaceful as it is beautiful. As I mentioned earlier, you can't be down while communicating with this deck; I used it in a spread called "Connect with Your Dog", and even though I lost her 2 years ago, I found myself feeling peaceful rather than sad. The Barkana is like that moment when the sun breaks through clouds, you won't want to miss this one!

I stumbled upon the Calaca by chance, and for this I am grateful. Not only is the artistry visually appealing, but this deck has come to tell a part of my personal story that until now, I thought might have been just a recurring dream from my younger years. As a small child I saw beings at night that looked so much like these, not meant to frighten but invite (of course they did scare me at the time). This deck called to me the second that I saw it because it felt so familiar. Now that we have come full circle, the why of that draw is so clear. I have started to use this deck for ancestral work; the comfort and knowledge that I've found while communicating with it are incredible. It has a no-nonsense, "here's looking at you" vibe, with a gentleness and subtle way of being that makes tarot (and the delicate subject matter of ancestral work) totally approachable.
This 78 card work of art follows the RWS style and reads like a dream. The entities on these cards are highly relatable; it seems as though they are reaching right out from their space to tell you something that is so very important, and it turns out that they are! The messages are clear and concise; the approach is direct and honest. The cards are standard size and thickness, with a swift shuffle that feels good in your hands. On the flip side, the backs are emblazoned with a moon and stars pattern in a gorgeous teal that gels with the art of each card and pulls the entire vibe of this project together seamlessly, albeit with a noticeable contrast that is so pleasing to the eye. There is a warm, soft feel that ties in with a certain comforting air of nostalgia residing in the depths of each image. This deck is deep and thoughtful without being overwhelming and confusing, and all I can say is that it puts a smile on my face every single time I see it! Maybe it is the fact that it is hand drawn/painted, or it reminds me of a time long ago, but the feels are all there. This is one of the best surprises I have gotten this year, and if I could I would send one to everyone I know!

The Star Seeker Tarot is a feast for both the eyes and the soul; this 79 card deck is based on the RWS with a Major Arcana bonus card that is so very special that you'll need to discover it for yourselves (no spoilers here). This is the deck that I reach for often, especially during certain moon cycles or times of the year when I feel that I need a softer, more delicate touch. The art is ethereal and mystical with a far off feel of some other time and place, yet still present and representative of today. I cannot get enough of the beauty of the cards themselves; their soft color palette is warm and comforting with symbolism that runs rich and deep. This deck comes with a beautiful guidebook, and I adore the way that Nicky weaves an amazing paragraph/story for each card that is ongoing throughout. Along with all of this, the guidebook also features an introduction that discusses Nicky's creative process, numerous spreads to try, meditations, and really interesting exercises to further develop your practice. The guidebook is well thought out, neatly organized, and extremely thorough. There is enough detailed information to assist the beginner, yet the perspective and content is so interesting that the advanced reader will only want to go deeper to expand their knowledge.
This offering while sweet and kind, has a strong sense of purpose and teaching; the physicality of the cards themselves feels thick and soft like velvet. They are perfectly luxurious, and the art is beyond amazing; an all around sweet treat for the senses. The cards are a traditional size and come in a gorgeous box that matches the theme of this deck beautifully. The card backs feature a moon and star design in a deep lavender that flows down the edges as well - Nicky has just thought of everything! Choosing this for your practice is an act of self care and the Star Seeker Tarot feels absolutely indulgent each time that you pick it up. While I mention the softness and gentleness of this deck, there is an undercurrent of strength and knowledge that far surpasses every expectation. The Star Seeker Tarot is a journey well worth the investment, so if she calls to you, be sure to answer.

The Moon BB Magick Tarot creates a space for you to be unapologetically YOU and allow that energy to flow out into the world whether they are ready for it or not! This deck features a gorgeous use of color both in communicating the feeling of each card as well as being symbolically chosen to enhance your reading experience. When you first open MBB, the moon phases at the top of each card become a flipbook that take you though the cycles of the moon in the most satisfying way! While this is formatted in the traditional RWS style, that is where the similarities end. Each card features a keyword that is atypical of what you would usually find and really poises us to ask our questions differently than the same old, same old. Not only is it visually pleasing, but it is straightforward and brutally honest where need be, while soft and comforting at the same time. The guidebook takes us back to school and gives not only cool songs for each card, but keywords if you choose to read reversals! A beginner can learn to read confidently with the MBB, and readers that have been in the game forever will want to keep playing on and on.
Not only is this offering fun, it pokes the intuition making you think differently about the Tarot. The art is clean and brilliantly unexpected; every time you open this to practice, it feels like a bit of decadent self-care. If you know Angela at all, you will see her beauty and appreciation of love and sensuality throughout each card. MBB comes with 2 bonus cards that explain in detail the use of color and the moon phases that are part of each card. Not only is this fabulous for divination, but it is a tool for learning and every practice can use a fresh infusion of insight!
The physical deck itself has a sweet, smooth finish in traditional sizing on comfortable cardstock weight that shuffles like lightning; you can feel the wild energy of this deck in your hands and she will give you all that you can handle and then some. It comes snuggled in a sustainable box with slick labeling all tucked inside a sexy pink satin bag. Indulgent is the perfect word; the MBB feels like a seductive little hideaway that you can keep to yourself or share with the world, and Angela leaves your experience entirely up to you. The suits have slightly different names which correspond to the uniqueness of this offering: Lasers (Wands), Caves (Pentacles), Blades (Swords), & Waves (Cups) which capture you in their grip from the start, and the best part is that it opens your mind to new ways of seeing the tarot with infinite possibility.
